Rose Cakes in Cumilla
The ruffled rose is piped from the centre out, one frill at a time, fading from deep pink to almost white. It takes patience and it photographs beautifully.
For something darker I pair red roses with chocolate, or box a painted-rose cake with fresh roses so it arrives like a bouquet.
