How saved cake ideas, sketches and enquiry drafts work in your browser, what design links contain, and what happens when you open an external chat.
Saved on your device
The site uses browser storage for favourites, sketch drafts, saved design versions, filters, checklists and your enquiry draft. This is not an account or a cloud backup. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see saved information. Clear the site’s browser data to remove these saved items; exported images and copied links remain wherever you saved them.
Photos and shared links
An inspiration photo selected in the studio is previewed locally and is not uploaded by the site. It is not included in a shared design link. Design links include visual choices such as shape and colours; they exclude your wording and enquiry details. Shortlist links contain selected cake IDs. People who receive a link can forward it.
External services
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation files from jsDelivr. These services receive ordinary connection information when resources are requested. Opening Instagram, Messenger, email or your device’s share sheet uses that service or app. You decide what to send; opening a chat does not send the enquiry automatically.
Questions
Questions about an enquiry you sent should be discussed with Mari through the same contact channel or email. This site does not process online payments or operate a customer account system. No third-party analytics tracker has been added as part of this enhancement.
