Start with the occasion and the actual venue

For an SSC or HSC result, a teacher’s retirement, a class farewell or an alumni reunion in Cumilla, prepare the date, guest count, exact message, design reference and named receiver. Send those to Mari to confirm availability, size, ingredients, quote and handover. School and college names help explain the occasion; they do not by themselves establish permission to serve food or receive a cake inside an institution.

The nine institutions below are local references selected for useful planning differences. This is not a school ranking, admission guide or list of Cumilla’s Cake clients. You can enquire about a celebration connected with another institution too; explain your own occasion and exact receiving address.

City schools: name the school and the receiving place

The government gazette published on 6 December 2023 lists Nawab Faizunnesa Government Girls’ High School at Badurtala and Cumilla Zilla School in Kandirpar. These names help distinguish two city-school contexts. Check the current entrance and event arrangements directly; the gazette is used for locality identification, not current school access rules.

College names and campuses need precision

Victoria College’s official history identifies a degree-level campus at Dharmapur. Cumilla Government College’s contact page gives Police Line as its address. Shikkha Board Government Model College’s own contact page gives Shaktala on Comilla Kotbari Road. These are different destinations; abbreviations such as ‘government college’ or ‘model college’ are not enough for a final handover.

The official district institution directory also identifies Comilla Government Mahila College, commonly referred to here as Cumilla Government Women’s College. That directory carries an older print date, so use it to verify the institution’s identity and check the current campus directly. Do not confuse Cumilla Government College at cgcc.edu.bd with the separately named Government City College.

• Victoria College: specify Dharmapur or the other intended campus, department and approved venue.
• Government College: write the full name and Police Line destination when that is the venue.
• Government Women’s College: confirm the current campus and whether the event is at college or at a private venue.
• Shikkha Board Government Model College: identify Shaktala/Kotbari Road and the actual entrance.

Kotbari and cantonment institutions are distinct destinations

Comilla University’s own introduction identifies the university at Kotbari. The Bangladesh Army’s cadet-college list also places Cumilla Cadet College at Kotbari. For Ispahani, use the Cumilla institution’s own site, titled Ispahani Cantonment Public School and College. Keep the city in the name so the reference is not confused with another Ispahani institution.

The Army’s official school list independently identifies Ispahani Public School & College at Comilla Cantonment. For a university farewell, give the department, campus or hall and the host-approved serving place. For a cadet or cantonment-related family occasion, ask the host about receiving rather than assuming outside access. A private homecoming venue may be different from taking food inside the institution. Mari separately confirms any feasible cake handover.

Choose the cake brief for the occasion

Browse profession and achievement cakes, signature cakes or hand-painted cakes. A book, a personal line or a subject-related detail may communicate more than several generic toppers. Ask the institution before using a crest or seal, and ask Mari about design feasibility. Confirm actual portions using your guest count and serving plan.

The organiser’s final checklist

• Institution’s full name, exact campus and actual event venue.
• Date and receiving window in Bangladesh local time.
• One organiser and one consenting local adult receiver.
• Approved message, batch/session spelling and any permitted artwork.
• Guest count, actual portions and ingredient/allergy discussion.
• Venue permission, suitable storage, quote and handover confirmed.
