Quick answers

  • The form records a preference; it is not a live flavour menu.
  • Sponge, filling and outer decoration are different decisions.
  • Discuss ingredient requirements before confirming the order.

Begin with the people sharing it

If the cake is for a group, choose a flavour direction the recipient enjoys and ask whether there are important preferences to consider. Chocolate and vanilla are available as enquiry preferences on this site. Mari confirms which sponge and filling combinations can actually be made for your order. ‘Not sure’ is a useful answer if you would like advice.

Ask about the combination

  • Which sponge options are available for the required date?
  • What filling goes with that sponge?
  • Is the requested outer decoration compatible with the agreed combination?
  • What storage and handover instructions apply to this particular cake?

Do not use the colour of a decorated cake to identify the inside. A pale exterior does not establish a vanilla sponge, and a dark palette does not prove a chocolate filling. Send the visual reference and flavour preference as separate parts of the brief.

Ingredient questions come first

If an allergy or dietary requirement matters, explain it before a quote is accepted. Ask about the actual ingredients and the preparation environment, including possible cross-contact. The website does not declare a cake allergy-free or suitable for a particular medical diet. Do not rely on a design photograph or a flavour name to make that decision.

Make the final choice explicit

Use the enquiry form to send a preference, or read the ingredient-question guide before getting in touch.

Questions people ask

Is every flavour shown in the form guaranteed?

No. The form records preferences. Confirm availability and combinations with Mari.

Can I identify ingredients from the gallery?
