Why a holud cake is its own thing
A gaye holud is all colour: yellow saris and panjabis, marigold garlands, turmeric paste, songs and dancing late into the night. The cake ends up in the middle of almost every photo, so it should match the stage, not fight it.
In many Bangladeshi weddings the bride’s and the groom’s holud are separate evenings, so it’s common to order two cakes: one for each side, sometimes with each one’s name or portrait.

| Up to 20 | 3 lb | Square |
| 20–35 | 4–5 lb | Square |
