Quick answers

  • Winter is peak holud and wedding season, so book early.
  • Pohela Falgun and Valentine’s Day share 14 February; Pohela Boishakh is 14 April.
  • Eid dates move every year with the moon, so plan around the announcement.
  • Birthdays, aqiqahs and anniversaries never take a month off.

Winter: holud and wedding season (December–February)

The cooler months are when most weddings happen, which means holud nights, engagements and receptions back to back. Studios fill up quickly, so if your date falls in winter, message early. New Year’s Eve parties land in the same stretch.

Pohela Boishakh (14 April)

Bengali New Year means red and white everywhere. A white cake with red piping inspired by alpana patterns, a few red flowers and “শুভ নববর্ষ” in Bangla is a perfect fit for family lunches and office celebrations.

Ramadan and the two Eids (dates change every year)

Ramadan iftar gatherings, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha follow the lunar calendar, so they move earlier each year. The weeks around Eid are busy, so order as soon as the date is announced.
